That's
B/TCH/N ! I love the dual illumination and recessed knobs. Very cool indeed and I'm sure he will get along great with his big brother
Way to go Bobby! Very nice! Now all you need is holy water fro your "devil box" for guaranteeing proper operation.
Oh yeah, let me know how the 777 "switch my wife broke" goes!

Frigin awesome Fatdog but do you have to pour salt in my wounds for forgetting to bid.
I'm glad you got it so cheap, we all need a reasonable boomer find once in a while.

I guess it's true about what they say, "You snooze... you lose."
cool box- great deal --nice going
Wat to go Bobby! I now like these - after seeing close up pics. Very cool
I'll hopefully get around to giving it a thorough inspection/cleaning/testing tomorrow since my GF-777 has exploded all over the kitchen table. One thing I can say about the Devil Box so far is that it has very crisp high frequencies. Probably because the tweeters aren't pushed back three inches into a stupid horn.
I'm already thinking of ways I can sneak a GF-555 into the house...
That box always reminds me of the 555 and the like, but I think the 666 is a bit nicer. Yours looks very clean for an uncleaned/unrestored box, and the price was good. Well done!
Very very nice FDog! Congrats on that beautiful addition!
Congrats fatdog - it looks to be in pretty good shape, despite the minimal packing.
"
MAKE SURE POLARITY OR THE TAPE RECORDER MAY RESULT IN TROUBLE"
...love it
Awesome Fatdog, a stunning score!!
I haven't seen that many 666s and yours is the cleanest, that lovely babe looks factory-new.
The blue highlights really do look beautiful along with the orange marks on the tuning dial. That sticker in the battery compartment is really funny lol, I laughed when I saw the one on my 555 for the first time.
Thanks so much for posting!
