in manhattan , anyone know a store to buy the lasonic ipod boombox, i may go there , or i just wanna see it !

Have yet to seen one in NYC, but i would check Canal Street in downtown Manhattan. The area was legendry back in the days for electronic shops with blasters. Even 14 Street had stores back in the days. Right by Union Square Park. Havent been over by these places ina whiles. But back in the days they had the blasters on display back then.

the i931 is really not that nice. When I first heard about them I thought that I would buy one for sure but after seeing one in real life I don't think they are that impressive. The plastic used on it doesn't feel solid (I've never seen a boombox with plastic like it - really flimsy). The shape seems a bit thinner than the original 931 also.
