post your odd and dirty boombox!...for example there is a super rotten panasonic rx5090,possibly used in a concrete factory...
or a car service station...
next another pana:
a tr5000 which was used on the sailing boat for ages, the humid and salty climatic area changed the front to an authentic wood patina.
(
real dusty:this rq 555 ,owned by a female Japanese shop display decorator...
this guy wrote onto the cassette door: nicht anfassen! ("don`t touch!").
this unit is heavily used,
see the space around the controls!
(panasonic#-rq454 IBBN 7-03362)
I wonder if you guys ever saw this
xingqiu-unkn5 IBBN 7-08974 which was rescued from a fire in the third floor by a firefighter...

Wow, now there are some real restoration challenges there!
I'll have to see what I can come up with but I don't think I can top what has been posted already.
yes -try to find one!
this
electro-brand-7985 IBBN 7-05173
might have been a break dance radio in the streets of harlem...
Some dirty ones there!
I really like that xingqiu SL-303 box. I've just noticed it has 'model SL-303' on the top.
I love it's Panasonic-like classic design and the separate bass and treble controls.
Lovely box.
Well done to the firefighter!
What about the JVC M70 from long ago on eBay that was totally demolished? Did anyone save a picture of that one?
Found it! The seller was trying to get $25 for it.

What part on that box was even usable? I doubt it was even worth the cost of shipping.

pretty nasty
The only GF9696 i have been lucky enough to see !

the 9292 and the 9696 are excellent
examples!!!!
And now have a look onto this rare 70s
prc-dong mei "spring thunder" IBBN 7-13812,which was treated in a Chinese blacksmith shop for decades...
authoritative sources told me that this chinese rc550 equivalent spent it`s times in a shanghai -...re-house to bring the background music for doubtfully events...you might know.. (the red lantern brand is a hint)
this one has got a remarkable dial scale disc with to see through a little spy window......

GOOD ONE! Except that "mei" commonly means "flavor" or "taste", so you seemingly are asking if he went there for "a little taste of dong"... maybe not the best way to put it? Hehehe...
I have one pic stored in a phone memory of the absolute filthiest box I've ever seen, even dirtier than the ones pictured here. If I can ever get that phone changed so I can download pics from it, I'll post a pic of it. I didn't get the box because I was too filthy, which says something. Have no idea what brand it was, or even what color, underneath all the caked-on dirt.. it was too dirty to tell. Looked as if it might have been buried in mud for a while, or something like that.
great comment!
found another....
I don`t WANT to identify!
