I have just had a coparo i have had them both flat out bass on half trebble on full and i can confirm they are both the same volume the gf1000 is slightly clearer in the trebble department mids are slightly better and so is bass but only slightly, and then again this could be the positioning of the boxes. the test was done on just under half volume.
tim ive only seen peppin sell the 1000 never seen one on uk ebay but have seen 3 or 4 767 on uk ebay
