I saw it in a 82 ad.
could be earlier ,nevertheless the production span was quite long,cause there do exist three(!) different types,with speaker and reception variations .

I found this Sanyo c12 mkII in a junk collection today and was interested in some general information. Despite being rained on, a power plug which only works on certain angles and a broken antenna its a go'er.
