I'm always wondering how many different types of one box under different labels where sold. Like my new box, a Universum Senator Hifi System (Universum is a brand of Quelle-Warehouse). I already know this box as one of my absolutly favorites in my Hifi-Boombox-collection. Take a look at the photos, there is the Uher Mini Port (next to the Telefunken M1 the best sounding bbox) which is the same like the Universum Senator Hifi, just with a other speaker system and a other color (Uher is silver, Universum is gold-silver like the old Hifi-systems of harman-kardon in the 80's). And there is the Loewe-bbox which got the same frame, same handle, ... and I know of a Telefunken CC 9000 which is also based on this box ...

Do you know more about this? Do somebody got this boombox with a other label/brand???

This is the Universum Senator. Quelle called there top-models always "Senator". I loooovvvve that kind of bboxes - very massive, great looking and a sound like a big home-stereo-system.

... and the Loewe-system (with the same frame). Can't tell you how it sounds, I still looking for the speakers (and I always test the system with the original speaker system) ...
