brought a gf 777 for £130 tape 1 fully working, tape 2 fully working but plays loud on right side relly low on left side radio fully working vu,s working ok, echo not working great condition anf complete nothing missing do you think this was a good deal what do you think paul

Sounds like a pretty good price to me but I don't have a 777 yet. I'm pretty sure I would have gone for that deal.

With the wealth of 777 knowledge here I'll bet you can get it back to 100% if you want to.

i bought it of uk ebay for £200 bin when i got it it had the problems as above so he sent me £70.00 back i still cant beleave the size of this thing

I'd feel ripped off if I'd paid £130 for mine. I paid a measly £10 for mine, I was looking for one and found it - YES!, it's near mint and fully working. Got a bargain!

But I'm not entirely happy with mine. The sound from the two outer woofers is rather poor, lacking in clarity. I'm planning to replace the speakers at some point with the ones from my crappy GF-525. I agree about the size of the '777, it's huge, and HEAVY!

130 anit to bad imho, RA you got lucky with yours as i did with my first one at £20 and its near mint and all working with great sound, and i paid £100 for my second one also near mint and fully working and great sound also

I don't really know what you mean.

If you're talking about bass, I'm assuming they're about 60hz. Or do you mean the ohms? Isn't the 'ohms' the 'impedence'? I haven't checked yet.

i think the 777 treble is not the best out of the bbox's i have but it aint bad at all, the 777 that i use every day has not had a great deal of use in its life (i know where it came from, from new)
