Getting things from Hong Kong, How long?

bredgeo - 2008-04-13 12:31

Can any/all of you guys and Gals, that have bought from Asia (Hong Kong, for example), tell me how long it took for you buy to get to your front door?

Thanks!

I bought my GF-999 from peppin.

After i sent the payment it took about 1 and a half month to arrive.

I guess if you are referring to your RX-7200 you bought from him..what does the online-tracking-service say?

hi bredgeo --Ireland is so much closer than usa --
so these answers might not count ::
but it takes 2 months via ocean --and only one week via air--

not even sure about the air thing --
except yesterday i won a box from Henrytai -and he said a week Smile

Bredgeo I agree with the others on the time frame. I bought a box from henrytai and it took about 2 months to the U.S. Smile

Ireland is not closer than Florida!!! Especially thru the canal. It took 8-9 weeks for my peppin stuff.

...and one time I did'nt buy anything, it took forever.

Laugh Out Loud
there is really quite a substantial $$$ savings, when you dont buy anything !!!

........... and what canal ?

driptip - 2008-04-13 14:04

my stuff, took 6 weeks from Peppin.

enskanker - 2008-04-13 14:17

The Cross Florida Barge Canal ..of course.

moncheeto - 2008-04-13 14:35

i bought a box from henry and recieved in about 1 month and a half in excellent condition considering the time it took Smile

redbenjoe - 2008-04-13 14:47

the SOuth Florida canal has been closed by the order of vice president -- dan quail --
during the Korean Conflict-
--- so thats why it takes so long.

Hi bredgeo, you're right.. it takes a bit longer time for surface shipping to Ireland (and same applied for other European countries). The longest time I ever encountered was 12 weeks for surface shipping to Croatia... Wish you can give extra patience in waiting for it.. also I had logged tracking enquiry to Hong Kong Posts for the shipment status.. pls check PM.. Best Wishes.. Peppin

bredgeo - 2008-04-15 09:23

Grand, Peppin!!!! Thanks for that info!!!!!!!!

I'll check PM now.
