Went to a site called stereo80's.com
On the homepage is a post about a Teac prototype boombox.
However no other information can be found.

I would buy this one. It has the look that a boombox from back in the day had.
The Lasonic i931 looks like a toy and it's overpriced. I don't mind paying for the Teac quality but not for a toy.
I tried googling it and I can't find any further information on it.
Maybe the Lasonic is encouraging the other manufacturers to reissue these classics again in a modern format.
Instead of all the old junk being traded on epay nowadays.
I'm not buying any more boomboxes as I have way to many,last count:90+ but I will buy this one if it ever reaches production.
Does anyone know anything about this one?

I am good friends with JVC's National Account Manager and I'm trying to get him to talk to JVC for us.

I got him to join S2G but it took a few days to verify and now he is back on the rode again.

Steve may be able to help us, he is a very cool guy and a close friend of mine. He's been in the stereo industry for years and is pretty high up at JVC

We'll see what happens but if Lasonic and Teac are both going to be building vintage style boxes it will make for a more convincing argument that JVC has to get on board and it's more proof that there is a market for this stuff
