Hello
I find this nice and real heavy Sony XF-3000 ... and I love it! It looks like they put some car-components into a box. Now I'm looking for informations:
- built when?
- Speakers? If yes, what type and how do they look like?
- other systems of these type (XF-????)
- Extras? Bag, case or something?
Thanks for your help!
Best wishes
TOM

Very nice and quite rare.
This component was shown in brochures without speakers, nevertheless different models were optional.(for truck/camping van-primary it`s a car/bus radio)

you`re welcome .
all these infos are in the base.... (which is currently not available)
One question, for my info-what serial number has yours?
Hello
The serial-number is 10271 ...
I saw in the book "Hifi Kompakt Anlagen" by Udo W. Wolf (ISBN 3-453-41368-7) on page 95 that Sony produce this unit normal as car-combo-system. The digital tuner XT-1, tape with amp XK-23, amp XM-1 or XM-41 and the 3-way-speaker-system XS 201.
Back to the XF-3000: I was wondering what the knobs on top are for. I thought they where for fixing speakers ...?
Thanks again, TPR!
TOM

Very nice Tom!
It neat to see the unusual finds when they pop up. I had no idea that Sony made such a product.
Man, that silver one is sweet! Kind of reminds me of a Geiger counter though.
