But several grundig sw radios,a grundig hi fi,and a grundig tape recorder,Grundig is just quality. only one bad exp a Grundig wind up portable sw radio the fr2200 i believe was the model it was made to resemble the Baygen free play radio needing no battery or ac,u just winded the radio on a mechanism (about 100 winds would net u 30-45 min of play) cool idea def advantage for emergencies and in Baygens case,(manuf orig in So Africa) ideal for remote areas. Prob was the radio is just simply a dog.
I keep it around as a gimmick but other then that one paticular snafu,every grundig product i have ever owned has been exceptional quality.
