I finally finished up the cassette door sticker for the RC-550. I know the wife is happy about it!
Anyway, there will be two versions available - one for JVC and the other for Victor (for those with the Japanese version). I'll talk with my printer tomorrow about getting them printed on vinyl static-cling material. I'm hoping to keep the price point around $5 USD. Paper posters are another option I'm thinking of. There's some detail that won't really be noticeable unless it's enlarged quite a bit. Anyway, if anyone is interested, just let me know!
Here is a pic of the original that LLopez sent me:

Fizzle Dizzle, you da real Shizzle...
Er, how do I get mine?
Really great job! I love the look of those!
count me in for one (JVC) !!

Thanks guys! I talked with my printer lady tonight and gave her a heads up on what I wanted. I'll be sending over the files tomorrow, but I don't know how long it'll take to get everything back. I'll be ordering 50 of each to start off.
Here's a little tidbit for all the Photoshoppers out there - the RC-550 sticker is comprised of approximately
84 layers! My 7 year old daughter, Emily, is trying to learn Photoshop and she just about flipped when she saw all those layers.

and two of the conion c-100
LMK
Thanks
Frank
please put me in there for the exact same as TA -
plus 2 of the JVC550 stickers -- so six total -thanks
I just might take the bate on the RC-550 stickers - I'll want one to affix to the machine itself, and possibly a second one (no guarantees here) to display elsewhere.
I won't have any $$$ for a week or so; then I'll be fair game.

http://cgi.ebay.com/Sharp-GF-8787-Stereo-Radio-Tape-Rec...QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItemThat's a sweet cling/sticker! Does anyone have a better image of it?
I will if I win it!
Im not going to go crazy... Thanks for the link!
Looks like Bredgeo is having withdrawals!
I posted a close-up of the VU area to show that there is way more detail than what you could see in my smaller sample images. It actually has a true RC-550 VU meter instead of just a needle in a grey square (like the original). Also, the needle on the original is pointing to the far left, indicating extremely low volume or no power. I "fixed" that. Now the needle indicates that the boombox is actually boomin' - as portrayed by the "lightning bolts".
As a plus, all five radio bands are present. The original only had three.
