Today I saw a rather unusual-looking box. Relatively long and thin in shape, with two cassette drives in the middle and speakers on the outside. Pale gold color. What made it unusual was that the front and back had a "rippled" or corrugated profile: that is, there were peaks and valleys maybe 1/2" or 1 cm high running horizontally across the entire length of the box, including the tape drive doors, from the top to the bottom in front, and over part of the back. Gave it an unusual, sort of sleek and modern look.

Anyone have this box, or know of it? I found no mentions on a search here, and only three references for the manual, on Google, so perhaps it is a rare one? I assume it will be in the database, at least.

I didn't have a camera with me, but I'll try to get a pic of it tomorrow. [I'm trying not to buy boxes now, and if I do, there are others ahead of this one, like a nice RX-5700 that I will buy first!]
