Those of you with severe allergies to eggs move right along. Nothing to see here. If you are a five-year old girl, however, this b-box is right up your street...
My youngest daughter, Skye, for whom everything must be pink, is five years old today. Thanks to International Rescue (aka Uncle Ed), she was VERY happy to receive a new b-box for her birthday:
Here she is with her younger brother, who appears to be meditating...
The one concession to old school b-boxes: it plays tapes. This is still pretty essential for kids - so many audio books, etc.
My wife found it online & it was perfect.
Then we find out it hasn't been on sale in the UK for a good while. After much searching I find some old stock online, I pay for it & nothing. I email & get the "must've been lost in transit & that was the last one" BS
At least I got a refund...
However, now we had nothing & time was running out. I see it for sale all over the USA, so I call on UE, my friendly purveyor of transatlantic goods. Without hesitation, his good lady has picked one up from a local store & he's shipped it out to me, double boxed.
What a hero
that is so cute to see the kids so happy with there new gift
uncle ira gave my grandaughter a rare mono discolight box she loves it
That is lovely!
A better view of the item in question.
Knew you were all so keen to feast your eyes:
You know the amazing thing? I've heard worse sounding b-boxes, I really have...
We were pleased to help make Skyes' Birthday a happy one.
I'm just sorry we could'nt find that second one for you Paul, but those Hello Kitty's are getting rare.
Way to go UE and congrats Isolator!

Rien encore, mon ami.
Mais bientôt, je pense...
I thought that speaking in latin was a different thread
Latin? ooh cripes...
er... Bibendum Ad Cadendum.
...phew
Well hello Kitty, yes hello Kitty...
Wow, I'm um how shall I say it? ah yes...I'm tickled pink that we die-hard all-square-or-nothin' bbx fans are sharing a pink-appreciation moment.
Here's my contribution to this little pinkfest...
and to complete the ensemble...

Hi Isolater-Future Grails!!
That's good-I want that high-end kitty though!
I think one of us should get one of these sent off to Nicole for Christmas!
I know I'm getting mine new from Target.
Have a great one-Ghettoboom777.
Lovely photo of the kids isolator42, not sure about the egg.
It amuses me that the kids toy arsenal now consists of Duplo LEGO, a pink boombox & what looks like a doccument shredder.
Hours of fun.
BTW, beautifull saucepans Iso
Cheers, Cris, they're getting their looks from mum, I hope.
Luke loves the shredder, thinks it's hilarious how it eats everything. not going to let him play with it himself just yet...
