The date that we have scheduled this for is Saturday, March 28, 2009. There has been some discussion of getting together on Friday night (March 27) for a group dinner.

The location of the meet will be the same as last year. Big thanks go to Tony for hosting! Also, Tony's wife will again be catering the meet with homemade Italian food. If you were there last year, you know how good it is!!

Ahhhh... Good old Sorrento, Florida! An hour and half drive for me. (Juan, are we car pooling again?)

Things are looking better and better by the day for me. At this point, I'd have to say that the liklihood of my attendance is at a strong 93.17%!

Life is good.

Also, I'll confirm that the food alone was worth the trip last year.

I will add that the food might have been even better if Ira would have been kind enough to use deodorant and mouthwash last year! You gotta do something about them bad habits, Ira!(j/k )

Guys take lots of pictures and maybe someone could take some video and post it for us to see. Just some video of the gang and all the different boxes that show.

I don't know if I will be able to swing it or not... it depends on my work schedule. No jobs in FL around that time... TX and GA yes..... FL no. Maybe I could schedule a connection in Orlando... and then MISS my flight...

Of course I will bring my small armada and a surprise or two plus a new heavyweight contender! Bobby of course will get a preview!

I'm looking forward to the 2009 meet to be even bigger than last year and want to personally invite as many members as possible to try and make it, this is short notice but it will be worth the trip. I doubt anyone will fly in but I will pick up anyone who does from Orlando airport my self. 24 days left to the big event. Come on everyone, like was previously posted, this doesn't have to be only a boombox meet, Daytona beach is 45 minutes away, Universal, sea world, Disney. Plenty to do and the weather is just starting to get really nice. Hope to meet a lot of new members this year, maybe I may see you here.

I remember the report from last year - really made me happy to read it... loads of pictures & detail about the day. I really wish I could be there this year (boring everyone rigid with a Hitachi 3Ds ), but there's this damned ocean in the way...
If it was anywhere in the south or midlands of England, I'd be there for sure.

Anyone within a couple of hundred miles of Sorrento, Florida better have a really good excuse not to be there...
