dont know anything about it ,but i would grab it if you can looks pretty bad ass to me.

it looks like a component box so it might be pretty heavy and loud looks like it has a full logic deck and digital tuning plus an eq hell i would jump on it if i could ,never owned a ge but seems like they are pretty good units from what iv'e read /heard.

I would need the dude to ship it to me. So i'm definatly trying. Lets give it a finger crossing. Waiting return email.

all i can say is if it's cheap its worth the gamble ,if the dude wants a fortune then i would learn as much as possible about it before you buy it ,i remember reading something about that box and from what i remember it was a nice radio .

That is a SPECIAL box. It is the GE version of the mighty Pioneer CK series. Not seen often, great quality.

I have this boombox it is a G.E. B5 and it is the cousins of the Pioneer CK series it sounds pretty good you'll like it.

Measures 25 inches long..6 inches wide...about 9 inches tall. Has four 3 1/2 woofers, two 2 inch tweeters. BIG SOUND. Loud as balls. Nice bass...thing is banging. However, I cant find a model number on it anywhere. Speaker says "Speaker system model ss-55"

Everything works perfectly. Only problem with it is that the door that opens so you can adjust tuner on the digital radio display has a broken hinge. So, near mint. Oh and some small melty mark on the top of the right speaker. Woooooo!

Take the handle off, then the speakers and separate the tape deck from the Amp/Tuner.
On the bottom of the Amp/Tuner is where you
will find the name plate.
