Hey guys have any of you 935 owners removed the foam behind the speaker grilles. Or is this considered bad form. Coz i see that if want it to look right you have to break the plastic supports.Just thought that those lovely white speakers deserve to be seen.

those boxes have great sound one of lasonics best sound wise ,i kinda like the woofers hidden on that box adds a little mystery to it.

I don't know about that, floyd... Before I saw the 935 that xavboxfrench has,...

I didn't consider that box worthy of being in my collection because of the hidden woofers. Still, when it comes to looks, I'll take the 975 over the 935. Then again, it wouldn't hurt to have both!

Ok im cutting the plastic supports after that juicy pic. And yes the sound is pretty good. Way better than my i931...

Just my 2 cents, but I'd have kept them covered. The woofers look a bit small for the square enclosure to my eye otherwise, maybe its the contrasting white and black in the frame. It doesn't 'sit' right and to me they look like replacement speakers.. but hey, thats just me.

But either way the box is most ruling indeed!

Geez rick now you got me paranoid about removing the foam only mainly because like you say LASONICS are a rear breed down our way

Hahah, well, if I do things like that I always make sure I can put them back in place if I want to at a later date, so even if you are cutting the holders, you'd still be able to put the foam back in another way, if you ever decided to sell it on.....to me, of course, who wouldn't mind at all.
