I'm back again - a lot of changes happend the last few weeks so time for writing was no more there. But, I managed it to buy some new boxes (gonne show them in the next few days).

I already had all the big once from Philips, but no box could realy break my heart - but this one does! The one of them I like the most is the Pilips D 8814 - what a bbox! Great sound, sooo many goodies on board, and it looks like a boombox of the early 80's should look like: cool ...

My question: there are holds for extern mircos at the top of the box - one for left and right channel. Do somebody out there know what kind of microphones will fit for the 8814?

great box ,i had one of those made by magnavox ,i guess they are nick named the elephant box i didn't fully appreciate it at the time so i got rid of it ,i wish i would have kept it now lol.

I love this Philips box!!! The one in my background is also Philips - although it's not even 1% as cool as yours!

... but who know about the mircophones? To make the look of this bbox perfect wouldn't it be nice to have the extern mircos of the top of the bbox fitted?

This bbox is maybe the first one (befor the GF9595) with a LCD-display for the frequenzy and the tape-counter. The music-search programm is also at the LCD-display ... and yes, this thing is realy heavy!

I just started a question to the holland-Philips-fan club (mfbfreaks.nl). If I find out I let you know ...
