Does anyone have any inside pics of this one? Pics of the rear of the speakers, power transformer, main circuit board, and a close-up of the amp chip would be nice.

I did a search and came up with nothing.

I keep reading such varied opinions of this one, I wanted to see the beef (or lack of)...

Just overall component quality, REAL watts into the three speakers, etc...

Trust me its not many watts but quality seems pretty good

I find that my D8443 is about 85% as loud as my SCR-8 and loses its composure just a bit more at higher volumes compared to the Realistic. Down at normal level volumes it can push out more lower end bass than the Realistic. Its sound presentation is a bit different than the SCR-8 but both boxes are a joy to listen to through the tuner.

I quite like mine and as long as you don't you spend an arm and a leg on one you'll have a solid box indeed.
