cheers bud , i am looking around for something with a bit of colour to add to the collection, maybe a red one of some sorts ,, i do like the sanyo range and also quite like the LASONIC, and i think i will pay almost anything to own anything BIGGER
,
my blasters are a part of a huge collection of my younger days that consists of ,,,
nintendo game and watch games
spectrum computers
oric computers
tomy tronic games
a williams defender arcade machine
space invaders games
old flip clocks
novelty radios
walkmans
a few years time i think an antique shop will love my attic lol,
but the ghetto blasters really are the centre piece of my overall collection ,

Nice boxes...
welcome!!
sweet!! man the one with the TV is much bigger then I thought it would be!
...about the Streetsounds Electro series:
I have Electros 1-11, Crucials 1-2 & UK Electro all on CD, created from mint vinyl, using rather pricey hifi equipment (no £40 USB turntables here!).
I've made 192kbps mp3s of these.
If anyone wants any of them, drop me a PM.
Don't worry about copyright issues on these ones. The original albums (LP & cassette only) have been unavailable & deleted for decades & if Morgan Khan (Streetsounds owner) could get the masters & re-release them all on CD I'm certain he would have done so by now.
Also, check out the Streetsounds web site:

welcome jasoncambs in s2g society.
really nice boxes you have there.
Welcome and congrats.
All 3 are great!
I also have some other electronics (flipclocks, trannys, ....)
But blasters are my favourite.
Great way to start up your collection Jason! The first one I scored for my collection was a GF-777, I can definitely appreciate your GF-767, classy radio indeed.
How many batteries does the Panasonic take? I've not seen a portable with that big a screen before, must suck up some major juice to power her up!
Welcome aboard and heres to many more ghettoblasters coming your way!
Rock On.
Wow! Only £12 for a GF-767.
Looks like it needs some labels.
the 767 was in a auction , and it was nearly orange with kitchen age by the look of it , i won it and took it home and spend days carefully cleaning it with mild detergent and soft cloths , when i got a half of it clean i knew it would be a great box and a bargain indeed for 12 pounds ,
i have another box in the post to me as i type so i will uncover it for you when it arrives ,
i like the sticker idea , i will have to sort that out ,
i think the one that i am having delivered this week will have a slight problem with cassette playback but will prob ask if anyone knows how to service these mechanisms ,
speak soon , jason
great site by the way , i am destined to post on here ,
i have 2 more in the post for my collection , i am a bit depressed , i just cannot find anything BIG and EXPENSIVE to buy to top my collection , if anyone has something MAJOR for sale please pm me , i wanna get some drool into my collection ,, cash waiting , lets say i have £300 to play with,
where can i spend it , will go higher for the right radio , what is the right radio??? i dont know but i will know when i see it ,
OK, those who requested streetsounds electro mp3s, I'll be burning discs & shipping soon - just waiting to see if there's any more interest...
