Hey, great work.
Please more informations about it.
How to connect the MP3 device?
How the bluetooth?
I want to do something like that at my broken PIONEER. The tape is finally dead:

ok the bluetooth thing i did was simple.. you need to get a bluetooth hands-free device. device. open it up and you see wires that connect to the mic and wires that connect to the speaker.. the hardest part is where to place the device in your boombox and howto reach the on button. or if youre a pro t solering you can older a button that will be placed somewhere on the boombox for easy access to the bluetooth
putting an mp3 player on the cassette door is preety simple..but you must get a pmp (portable media player..google it) thoseare the best ones because the all buttons such as play, ff, rew, menu etc are facing you next to the lcd screen. you cant have buttons on the side or top because you may get problems fitting it in.
to fit the mp3 player in you must cute the cassette door window into a regtangular shape so that the mp3 player can match the shape of the hole and you have to use a glue gun or something that would stik permanently, oh and the mp3 player has to be opened too, unless you have a better way to fit it.
connecting the mp3 player is easy get a usb connector thats made for your mp3 player. and find a broken computer to remove the front usb ports.. you have to cut the mp3 usb cord to
join the usb port. and place the usb port anywhere around your radio
and you can either buy or make a usb cord with the same ends. so you can connect from the boombox to the pc

Ok, best thanks!
I will take a try to make a MP3-box soon.
Maybe i take the old SIEMENS first, for beginning.
When it works good, i try it at the PIONEER.
I need such a MP3-oldskool for the big scooter meetings in summer. It will be the big hammer. Nobody have such, only ugly eggs.

COOL MOD, STBNYC! Great work! How do those speakers sound with the Sanyo power driving them?
(Hey Viennasound, everytime I see you post, I can't help but think of the Falco song, Vienna Calling!)
the sanyo was dead so . that blue part on top of theboombox with the knobs is a better amplifier.. and besides te sanyo amp is only 11 watts and the new speakers are 40 watts each

thats excellent.
now i have one of those sanyos. but mine is far from broken or dead. its a pretty nice smaller box.
i bet tho yours now is a real sheep in wolves clothing.
