Looking to get some opinions on GE Blockbuster prices??? I haven't seen many for sale and was hoping a few of you could shed some light on the subject. Honestly if I could find a new in box one I would do that but since the chances of that are slim to none.........
Any opinions welcome, good or bad.
See this here...and welcome abaord!
Boombox Price Requests
Ah I see, thanks for going easy on a BoomBox Newb. I'm looking at the one on Ebay but haven't pulled the trigger yet.....
Too much, But is just my opinion, I guess at least it does not need service.

Or thats what they tell you and want you to believe......
Check out the 1 piece G.E. 3-6000 if you have a chance. As good as a "Blockbuster" sounds, the 3-6000 has more bass and goes way louder than the "Blockbuster".It's line-in is among the most sensitive I've encountered. Many go for less than $100.00 on Ebay (way less at times).Get one if you don't mind its sleek looks (I love it!)!

Thanks for the vote of confidence. Thats me skippy. Have some faith!!
Not Nice!!
That one doesn't look too bad at all. A friend of mine had the BlockBuster growing up and I was really jealous of him
I had the cheapest GE they made with the one speaker and the dark gray color. I still have it to this day. Always had the urge to scratch that Blockbuster itch so to speak. But I would be okay with something else as long as it was mean looking and sounded great.

Have you overhauled one of these decks down to the ball bearings to clean the hardened grease out from between the plates? Try to pay a repair shop to do that hourly. How much do you think it would be when all was said and done?
