Wow, it looks ancient!
I'd be doing some research, it may be worth more than the ghettoblaster.

Hot bonus!

Rock On.

yeah i thought the same...found a few pics but none that match but most of their coins have a hole in the middle...so could be ancient...nice to have tho too...

maybe you find it here!

Chinese coins usually featured a square hole in the center, but that doesn't mean that it's not a coin. It looks more like a hand-made charm to me. The Zodiac was a popular subject of such charms and the item has 12 points, with one unfinished point - maybe an amateurish mistake.

What does the other side look like?

tpr - 2009-01-19 07:38

on that site are chinese coins with round holes as well.

but if you look exactly, there are some chinese letters/characters to see.

it seems it was devaluated by the "star".

the other looks similar with more oriental letters

moncheeto - 2009-01-19 13:17

well who ever had it must have hidden it inside the box it may have been a valuable to someone and maybe they did not want anyone to find it who would suspect it was inside the box so it may have been forgotton the box sold and presto you got yourself a piece that maybe might be worth a ton Nod Yes

A coin? ... Mmmmh, no. I'm sure it's an ancient Compact Disc ... but I didn't know the GF-1000 has a CD player Laugh Out Loud

fatdog - 2009-01-19 17:01

That's a good one, Chordeater! Laugh Out Loud
