Wow, it looks ancient!
I'd be doing some research, it may be worth more than the ghettoblaster.
Hot bonus!
Rock On.

maybe you find it
here!
Chinese coins usually featured a square hole in the center, but that doesn't mean that it's not a coin. It looks more like a hand-made charm to me. The Zodiac was a popular subject of such charms and the item has 12 points, with one unfinished point - maybe an amateurish mistake.
What does the other side look like?
on that site are chinese coins with round holes as well.
but if you look exactly, there are some chinese letters/characters to see.
it seems it was devaluated by the "star".
blaster --was it in there as a shim, etc --
or just bouncing around in the case ?
You bought a Boom-Bank

the other looks similar with more oriental letters
well who ever had it must have hidden it inside the box it may have been a valuable to someone and maybe they did not want anyone to find it who would suspect it was inside the box so it may have been forgotton the box sold and presto you got yourself a piece that maybe might be worth a ton
A coin? ... Mmmmh, no. I'm sure it's an ancient Compact Disc ... but I didn't know the GF-1000 has a CD player
That's a good one, Chordeater!
