Anyone figure out if the i931 can be modded for an ipod touch to fit in the dock and have the compartment hatch shut? Good news is it will recharge the pod if needed. I havn't even unwrapped the remote yet. My wife, Ruth got me the Lasonic AND the ipod! So, I am in the ipod generation, but my feet are still anchored in the am/fm/cassette era. Now I just need to figure out how to do an avatar...

OK, here is what I plan; clamp a straight edge accross the top, then with the door open use a demel type tool and take out about a quarter inch of the plastic above the door. Only concern is the inputs mounted in this "module" over the door.
Ideally will be done well enough that it will not be noticeable to the untrained eye.

Show us what you come up with when you get it finished.I have a Touch 1st generation and have been wanting an i931 also .
