Just got another PC-55 in real good condition but was ofcourse damaged in shipping
This time the damage was not too bad . (Atleast it works) ..

It just kills me that someone would ruin a vintage boombox like this just to save 10 bucks on packing material ! This boombox is spotless ! Even the LCD light is working !
I guess it could be alot worse . I will just have to take one of the speakers from my other pC-55 (The one that was detroyed in shipping) and use it instead . It is only cosmetic but that is important to me also .

That sucks but it could have been a lot worse. That's no consolation but how else can you look at the bright side.
Your right Brick, I notice a lot of sellers get real cheap on packing to save a couple of bucks, this is why buying from unknown sources is really a crap shoot. It's mind boggling when you ask a seller to pack well and they promise to only to have it show up with one layer of bubble wrap and some newspaper.
Minor damage thankfully

A diaper on those speaker corners would have done wonders.
