Any one have a copy. My deck is not functioning at all, there are at least 4 micro switches.....its a mess.

Will trade a service manual in my collection as a swap or some $ donation if needed.

Actually I ended up buying it outright. I'm willing to trade you something for a duplicate copy.......only because my copy has some issues on the main pcb that I need resolved. Does your main amp board schematic show clearly the areas where the "rectangle" around some of the block clearly? There is a big rectangle in the lower center of the schematic and a on the left input side there are smaller rectangles.......and then on the upper right shows the headphone jack. Mine are just black solid areas, blotting out the information. So does yours show those area properly?

Hello Chris and thanks for the welcome. I see your problem: The original schematic is printed in red and black. Yours was either a photocopied hard copy or a copy scanned in 1-bit color depth. Since the scanner can not tell the difference between the red and black, everything was treated as black. You'll have the same problem with the wiring diagram which was also done in half-toning with red color overlay originally. This is the reason why I like to buy ONLY original manuals and NOT pdf copies unless I know that the person who did the scanning has done it in a manner preserving the readability. Eyes too old now to be straining to read something that is not easy, even on an original.

It appears you want a copy to repair a broken deck and not to collect the manual. I can help you with the readability of your schematic. Send me a PM or give me your email and I'll provide you with "photos" of the schematic. It is not as practical to print a photo as opposed to a pdf document, but I guarantee you that from a readability standpoint, they will be 100% more readable and clearer.

No trade needed as I doubt you'll have what I need anyhow.

I got mine from Dave Hayward and he sells on ebay under the user name dlcmusic. He is awesome and has a ton of stuff. I have also bought decent reproductions from Rick at www.stereomanuals.com. His selection is rather limited, however, he did have a manual for a Sanyo boombox that wasn't listed on his website. You will have to email him for him to check. His site is not up to date as far as stock goes. There are other sites on the web selling reproduction manuals but I have no personal experience. There are some scam sites out there, be careful.
