This was the boombox I spent weeks staring at through Rumbellow's window at when I was 13. It cost £69 & I wanted it so badly. I used to draw it on my school books. I finally badgered my parents into getting it but I messed up big style by getting caught smoking at school...again.

Anyway, I never got it.

But I found it again last week on eBay for 95p.

i think i got one of those in my shed, you can have it if you want

Very nice Agent ! I have the RX-1750 where the chrome tweeter ring protudes from the face.
I thought it looked fantastic as soon as i seen it.

Not so much a grail as a lost friend. I found some of the doodles I did of this unit at the time, surprisingly accurate, I clearly wanted this box.

Very cool AO, no box can quite stand up to the first one. Something special about that first box that just doesn't fade.
