it is for sure a great boombox.
i really like my version of it and well i just finished listening to it right now as we type this.
this is one the best sounding boomboxes i have at low volumes.
it can also go pretty darn loud and has nice bass.

I use mine alot, like they say nice sound.. Mine was $20au and I would have paid more for it..

Ash that's a very good deal on the 950 especially if she has the remote. I have the 900 which is essentially the same without the remote and it's a very nice box, well worth $20.

I didnt know it had a remote available. That I will surely ask. I do hoipe she can find the time to hook up.

if she dosent have the remote there is a pretty good chance you can find one that would work from a goodwill or a similar second hand shop.

I think he should get it also. I have the CT900, and the sound is very impressive. The bass is 'meaty'. Plus with the equalizer, it has excellent midrange and highs.

Guess what? I emailed her again and wanted to meet her Saturday to look at and get the radio. She emailed back and said since the radio was 10years old she decided to keep it,unless I REALLY wanted it. By her emphasis on REALLY I think she figured she wanted more for the radio. She said the radio didnt have the remote and was missing the battery cover. I told her it was her decision to keep the radio if she wanted to. I wasnt about to kiss her butt after she wanted 20 bucks and said she would meet so I could buy the boombox. Oh well, no big deal I guess. Just silly that all of a sudden she doesnt want to sell it. WTF?

Somebody probably told her to sell on Ebay for $200.....

That's to bad ash, I think you would have liked it. I've seen sellers do this before, seems once they've had time to do some research or talk to someone else they think they've got a gold nugget.

Thats what I was thinking also. It really wasnt something I would have bought new but for 20 bucks I figured couldnt go wrong. O well.
