Well, it was late at night and my day was winding down. I got to thinking...I had already found some original white Fisher 6" woofs and matching tweet for my PH-460, what about the PH-480???

Well as luck would have it...I found some 8" woofs and matching tweets!!! Lighting does strike twice!

As always, old white speakers look well...old. So out comes the acrylics and the whitening begins. The replacements were perfect matches sensitivity wise the only diffrence being resisitance on the ones for the 480 (8ohms vs. 4ohms) but there is no drop off in performance as these have plenty of power to spare. Even the chrome cap sizes were pefect matches for both.

Here they are...What do ya think?

(If anyone has photos of the 460/480 with original speakers please post as I cannot find mine to use for comparison.)

Man, I sure do like them Fishers! In white too! They look very classy.

oldy --at this moment - you have the best looking fihers i have ever seen --
it was a terrific idea --and a super job .

Gotta score one of those Fisher's one day. Wonder if they were rebadged in Australia? Don't remember seeing anything Fisher branded here before.

I think they look far more fetching with the new woofers,good selection! They're really clean and in wonderful shape,consider it a job well done!

nice work freddie im considering taking the speakers out of my conion and putting them in my fisher and then selling the rest as spares, good job.
