Last weekend i found a box at flea.
I call it the "miracle machine".
Because it owns so many functions.

Just repairing it, but this comes otherwise.

Before displaying a little quiz.

I'm thinking JVC, maybe a PCX-#### model but that's about as far as I can get.

really looks like one of the 80/90's JVC hyperbass-models. (PCX / PC-V / PC-R and what else they're called )

If i would know how a JVC hyperbass is looking...

Ok, more help:

The shape is like a TOSHIBA 3D.
The decks are at the place where the woofer used to be.
Under the decks is no woofer, there is a "G-HORN"!
The CD is a toploader.
The frequency is very overlength. You can receive TV-channels and some other strange stations.
Everything works softtouch and over remote control (if i had one...).
Never seen an oldskool box before, loaded with so many features.
And the quality tastes very good.
The sound is impressive too.

hmmm interesting.
the only boombox i owned with ghorn on it was a jvc px100 i think it was cant remember for sure. gave it to my grandfather a while back.
mine was branded as a victor tho.
the led on the volume knob was similar to that. the one i had had tv sound to that i thought was kind of strange to have on a boombox but i have seen others that had it.
i wonder if it is some kind of other branded jvc boombox. i dont know what else it could be unless it is a chinese counterfiet look alike which could very well be as well.

yeah thats the boombox i gave to my grandparents well there is a couple differences the g horn silk screening isnt on the one i gave away.
i am pretty sure the g horn is some kind of subwoofer system i think it could be powered but i dont know for sure.
this boombox sounds pretty decent for what it is. i didnt care for it too much.
it is made by jvc . i dont know if this ever made it to north america as a jvc tho.
mine was a japanese model made to work on one hundred volts but i just used it on 110 volts. it sounded fine when i did it and i didnt really care much if it blew up beacause mine came from the side of the road. literally.

Just seen, the plug of the powercable is looking different as a euro-connection. It´s more quadratic. At the first plug in it made a little flash inside. Maybe it´s also a 110V model?
Must look...

Ok, there exists better sounding and looking units, but for the features it´s king.
2 softtouch autoreverser are quiet rare, also including CD. And the extanded waveband...

yeah i dont worry to much about tenvolts.
i mean if it blows up it blows up. i have yet to kill or hurt anything from doing it.
even some of the synths i have had are marked 100volts.
we only have 110 here and well honestly i have never lived in a place where i got 110 from all the outlets. almost all of them have had between 90-120 volts. so i while i would not say go and do it for me i dont really worry about it.

i did think that boombox was pretty nifty,i didnt give it back to the curb or another thrift store.
my granparents use it quite a bit still.
