Nod Yes Nod Yes

thibay - 2009-05-10 12:42

Wow thanks to everyone, you had a very productive weekend Smile

The discolight looks really funny (and huge) (and denim). The right one will be.. a surprise. It appears to be an aka indeed.

I have not interest in the bottom one as she doesn't play cassettes.. but I though it was a grundig too.

I'll describe all of them once they are mine Wink

jaredscottfla - 2009-05-10 14:16

the grundig is an awesome sw radio

viennasound - 2009-05-10 22:29

I Agree The Satellites are real collectible units! Nod Yes
A friend of me owns about 15 different of this series.

The Discolite is not really an high quality unit, but very funny to look. Get it! Big Grin

To be accurate, on the topicstarter's photo was a Satellite 2000 made around 1976. Unlike 2100, which they produced since 1977, it had slider controls of volume/bass/treble.

viennasound - 2009-05-13 00:21

I Agree Sure it was not the 2100.
But the comment was "GRUNDIG Sattellite series", because i don´t know the exact model number. The photo was an example from the flea of last weekend. Wink

thibay - 2009-05-18 00:11

Well, finally I got the 3 radios for 5,50€ Big Grin

The right gray boombox is a COSMEL. That's a true empty box with big speakers. Cosmetically crashed and electrical problems. She switches in "safe mode" after 30 seconds of playing. Ideas ?

The disco-lite is an ARTECH. Very funny box fully functional, as new. The labels are translated to french in a funny way. e.g power is translated as "puiss." (puissance).

The grundig... is definitively a keeper. Very nice radio, built to last, strong.

I'll detail them later in a separate topic Wink

See you guys
