I found a sharp vintage boombox GF-777X in good working condition and wondering what a reasonable price on it would be because i have no idea how much its worth.. can somebody plz give me a price idea?

how much are they selling it for. how much can you afford. i think right now average is about 3-4 hundred.

Smilei know this is heracy but i've never been big on the 777.But to be direct i agree with sin that seems fair even a little more in nice shape

Woking and in decent cosmetic shape, I too agree with the Sinster. Fair market value for a quality built and reputable box.

Are you really buying one or selling one and want to know a good price? Pardon my paranoia, but there is an entry on the main page about asking for boombox prices...

If you're buying from a person in a shop it's normal to pay a high tab for the service and warranty for at least 30 days. If you buy from a bloke in the neighborhood it may be wise to try it out first then see about quibbling a bit with the condition and age of the unit in mind. It helps to have been around in the 60's and 70's so you get a "feel" of what's really important in boomboxes.

Personally, I wouldn't spend more than $10,000 US. Good reply James, we saw right through this one. I think my new goal on S2Go is to acknowledge and challenge all the lemon members - you're either going to love me or hate me from now on. I'm going to say it as it is for every effed up message I see. It's enough that this unique collector's club has turned into a scham. The posts are getting dumber and the product is getting worse by the day. Paul
