Hello Gents,
I am another newb to the website and I really enjoy being able to find other people who are enthusiasts of high quality stereos from the 70's and 80's. Right now I only have a Superscope CRS 4000 that I got at a local hamfest for 40$, and I would like to find some of those old JVC "dream boxes" I see on the net...
At any rate, My CRS-4000 dates from between 1978-1980 and is AM/FM Stereo only, no Shortwave
...It has a myriad of jacks on the back for aux in/out, phono, and dual microphone jacks. It also has dual condenser mics on the front and has 2 jacks on the end of each speaker for an additional external speaker to be added..
Here are a few pics I found online as I dont have a digital camera yet:
http://i251.photobucket.com/al...oblog/CD-boombox.jpgThis picture does not do it justice...does anything know what it might be worth, or worth asking if I decide to sell? I really like the old thing, it has neato VU meters and is mega loud..Any help or info would be much appreciated, thanks!

Now THAT is a cool ad! Where did you find it? I looked all over and all I found were a few small pics from a site in Japanese!
This Japanese site specialises in super-rad ghettoblasters. They must be very popular there.

You did ok with the $40 purchase.
It is a good value for that box.
Since were actually talking about used items here
there is no set price.
