I love how alot of you can name a box and model number by sight alone. Lets see if you guys have the answer. It looks nice and big..right up my alley. (I don't know what it is but I'm thinking of taking a ride to pick it up...I wanna know if it'll be worth the gas and all that.)

It's an Emerson CTR-961.

Emerson maybe? I know they did some wacky designs and weren't averse to almost novelty sized knobs.

I don't know about the size of it Petey, the cassette decks stacked liked that makes me think it's reasonably compact. Can always get an idea of the size by measuring the gap between the spools of any deck and and multiplying the distance in the pictures spools for an approximation. But I don't think it's an LV (Large VarietY) ghetto. Sorry if this doesn't make sense,... gin.
