went to the dump / recycle centre or now as i thinking of calling it the idiot's bin - as some people just seem to throw away things that just don't need to be I've seen bikes thrown out for just having a flat tire and the owner not knowing how to change it


A lot of hifi - boxes - walkmans - games consoles all get thrown away just because the owner has bought some thing new or been suckered into buying the next new thing and now feel that the old needs to be destroyed ?

got my 9494 free from the dump and it's very sweet and clean and now loved

well today i found some thing that i felt was ok to throw away because it had run it's life

it was a sharp 7500 - it looked like a painter or decorater had use it - paint on it - scratches all over it and some button missing
It was a shame that when i saw it i thought i had a new box to add to the collection (will pic up soon of my smal collection ) but then picking it up i saw that it had a good life and been used - yes i wish it was clean but at least i was happy that the person had chucked it away with it being loved and used - i see so many items just binned for not being in vougue or the lastest

why should we throw away things that still can be used - just becuse the government say that the best thing to do - and we should land fill them with it

re-use - enjoy - collect - love - be happy - need - want - just dont kill every thing for some one else greed of making more money from cheaper poor goods

so please 5 minutes silence for the honerible death of a sharp 7500 - living it's life to the end

I'll bet whoever had that radio is crying like a baby right now. I mean, just imagine walking down the street today with these Sissy Looking things that they call Boomboxes today!!! So what if they have CD players, do you know how annoying it is to have that thing skipping on you every 5 minutes while you're Trucking down the street!!!

Let me tell you, in the Bronx where I'm from, you'll get laughed at all the way back to the store where you bought it from!!! These things today aren't Boomboxes, they're decorations!!! Yes, they look good around the house, but they're not REALLY Street Worthy.

I mean, there's some Sanyo's, and Panasonics out there today, that's got the Mega-Bass features, but I'd put a Lasonic, or a JvC MONO up against them anyday, and blow them out of the water!!!!

I'd even put my 31 Year Old Realistic up against these imitations, and give them a run for their money!!! To tell you the truth, I'd bet right now, that the people who sold me this box for $5 at that Yard Sale, are kicking themselves in the Butt right now!!!
