I was at the thrift store.
Someone dumped a load of 1984-1985 Maxell cassettes there.
Picked up 2 Maxell Metal Capsule 100 tapes.
First time I found any metal tapes there.
Some early XL-II-S tapes too.
the thing is i don't know what's what with the tapes, but everytime i go out to carboots/ thrift store i have a quick look - you never know when you will find some thing nice - just got to learn what i'm looking at and what for !
picked up another small box today and one last weekend
will show to all when there a bit more cleaner and can photo them well

I dont get many pre-recorded tapes.
Mainly blank ones.
Maxell are good tapes but
easy to find actually
sence they were popular.
Any type II chrome usually good for HIFI.
This Agfa a 'junk cassette' not HIFI.
From a photo-film company.
yer
will have to see what the others make of it
should look nice inside one of my boxes

All are good finds.
The board is slow.
Great tapes Bendycat! Love the hot DINDY one with the imperial logo on it.
The only thing better than finding hot blanks in the wild is finding hot radios in the wild.
Top work!
Rock On.
Some nice tapes Bendycat .... the variety of colors and logo's makes for an interesting retro display. The Ross is novel.
I don't know about you lot but there seems to be not that many collector's at the carboots i go to at the moment, so i got to keep it under my hat and not let the cat out the bag, or so to say - with the way things are going for people, they all seem to be trying to sell every thing they can to make money now - so hope to see more boxes and tapes and any thing else cool looking
Nice finds, BENDYCAT.
I like the collection of tapes that you got-it's interesting and quite varied.
Would make for a great looking display.
LOVE the SKEE-LO! ;-)

I don't recognize many of the blank tape brands.
thafuzz
how about this one ?
(nice silver and red that shine in the light and looks good in a tape deck)
