Sorry Buddy, junk - the dude is $4.50 ahead now. And I'm not being angry or fecicious as people have mentioned, but really, you spent $4.50 for what? C'mon People, were Boombox enthusiasts not Sanford & Son - for those who remember. Paul

Don't agree with that. The big sharp is a well respected 3pc - one of the most powerful ever to be seen & it's not in such bad shape.
The Sanyo is a bit ropey looking sure, but if it works or in repairable (new belts, etc.) It could clean up to ba a perfectly respectable mid-size.
Sell the car radio, speakers & CD player on eBay for a fiver & you're in profit...
I'd pay 4.50 just for the big Sharp...
The one at the front is a Sanyo M9930. The GF-800 is really nice!

Amen!
While the boxes ben picked up may not be mint condition or "grails" by any standard, I think he did very well for the amount he invested. I mean, come on, he spent less than 5$ and look at all the stuff he got! He can do a little cleaning to the Sanyo, clean the heads on both, and he has a great start to a collection!
The Sharp has shortwave bands, 2 tape decks, and is worth 10 times what he paid at least..and plus, I like the Sanyo.
I don't see how calling these items "junk" is supportive or very nice, but thats my 2 cents...

You are hilarious!, but I'm sure you already knew that.
I cant wait for someone to post a box I might not like and call it junk.
Badboy, love the 800! looks like my smaller version of my HK9000. I heard they rock.
Yo Z,
Sorry, HK900...bigger.. uglier and...JUNK.
There is nothing attractive about yours and badboys rectangular $4.50 win. Let's see some NICE boomboxes. Do I need to refresh your memory? Telefunken Studio Im...Lasonic TRC920... Pioneer SK-31....JVC PC7... Dude, these are blasters Bro!!!!! Not this junk you guys keep posting...P
Bro your the only one who thinks so! good on ya...and who cares anyway ahaha crazy munta
paul mate - pull your head out your ass
so are we surpose to buy every thing in a mint condition and never touch a recycle centre of charity shop, only paying top money for boxes that are grails ? you got to get real mate - if you look above with the comments lots of members see that bbb has got him self a bargin
If he want to do the hard work and clean up what he has found cheap, then it's up to him (and well done bbb)
I find lots of bits at dumps, charity shops, carboots, garage sale - and there not all sparkling clean or all parts there - that's what makes if fun, trying to sort them out with hard work - as for if it's not one of the big five, well some of as happy with just a sweet looking box, some thing that pleasures us.
You have to remember that a site like this is built up with a lot of different styles of collectors, weather it be from the "Junk collector" to the
"ebay box fresh bidder" that's what makes this site great that we can get alsorts of cool members here doing there own thing in there own way, but being a family here on Stereo2go.com
I surgest that if all the other members are not living up to your expectations, you go sit in front of a mirror
if you find this message offencive - it is not ment to be - just a wake up call
to all other members - keep collecting what ever you want as it is that, that make this pleace a joy to be - intresting what will turn up next and what has been saved from land fill - hidden corners, winning grails, and free from friends - they all make it a great place to be
cheers B
AMEN!
Hey B, I'm sorry for my comments. I wasn't looking to piss anybody off, it was more like dry humor and being intoxicated at the wrong time. Your points were well taken and you are right. It won't happen again, I'm not a bad dude - just had a frustrating day I guess and took it out on my fellow blaster collectors. Which is really wrong. Again, sorry to everyone on the site. And a special apology to Master Z on my comment about his HK9000. I hope everyone can forgive me. I have some substance abuse issues to work out and none of you deserve what I have been saying the last week or so. I hope to re-connect with Stereo2go members when I return from rehab. Again, sorry everyone, I'm done - P.
Thanks paul. Hope you get better soon
Paul mate - you are a good man for saying sorry and i think every member can see you mean it
I didn't mean to be mean and sorry if i stepped over the mark with my comments to you.
give your knowledge and help us newbie's - re-connect on here
good luck with the road your traveling on, may it bring you back here - enjoy the sunrise and blue sky - it's free to all
see you soon bro
cheers B
