I would never pay over a grand for a boombox.

Low prices on graily models are gone.
Donno where this is going.
Only on ebay though.
Luckily the shipping is cheap...... LOL... not
YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!! I understand it's a Classic Box and all but, $1,060.00??? Come on, there's Cat's out there with Entire DJ Equipment, that didn't pay THAT much for it!!!
By the way, when did this Box come out, '78 - '80??? Back then, you could buy a Car for that much!!! But as the Original Gangsters used to say: "THERE'S A SUCKER BORN EVERY MINUTE"!!!
'NUFF SAID
The price is not out of the question and might be high because of the "BEST OFFER" status, $600-700 might take it!
I bought one earlier this year (250 Euro BIN), and I can say I'm really impressed with this box !

I guess James in Houston hasn't seen it yet.
Seriously though, I don't see why this asking price comes as a shock. There have been auctions for this model from a few hundred to $1500, and many of them have sold including that $1500 opening bid auction. What amazes me is that there is so frequently a JIH type buyer out there picking these up.
JIH - please explain for the newer members
£££££ wins ?
