What would you rather have,a Jumbo J1 or a Lasonic 975 ??

Well I already have the 975...... So I'll go with the Jumbo J1

J1 is an incredible radio IMHO.

I want to see pic's of both please

OK Heres an abstract idea...First, I love the 975, but I'm very partial to silver boxes. I have been thinking of creating a silver 975! If I find a 975, I may create a big brother to my 920, in silver!

like the look of the lasonic better, as it looks more professional than the J1 - and it looks like you should move up to the 975 from the J1

just me on the looks - but i wouldn't turn down the J1 or 975 and like some other member's i like the cool look of the black with chrome trim - looks cool

i`ve only hurd a lasonic 931 because i used to have one,and the J1 in the picture is mine..the sound from the tapes is pretty darn rubbish,poor quality,not much trebble,well not much of anything really..i dont bother with tapes..the tuner sounds better,but its best when i play my sony mp3 thru it..the sound is great,nice and loud,plenty of bass..it really kicks..i would`nt mind a lasonic 975 tho..i`m torn between the 2,i like them both,i want to know what the tapes sound like on a 975,i like trebble..

wow didnt know you had a J1, is it crown sz kwolity or better?

how doo mi lad..hmmm,nah not as bad as the crown,feels more solid than that,it has alot more screws holding it together for a start..and you could fit 2 crowns inside of this thing,its huge !! bigger than a 777,bigger than a conion,infact its just a monster,you would have to see a picture of someone holding one,or you would have to see a pic of a j1 stood next to another familia box to get the jist of the size..some people say its simular size to the jc2000 but i dont know because i`ve never seen a jc2000..it sounds kool aswell,aslong as its a mp3 player thats playing through it..
