Mine has one and that's what I use. Don't know why it's that way. I however only have one good channel...the left.
(Has nothing to do with the fuse.)
You sure it's not just a bad speaker?
By the way, does anyone have a spare Studio 1 speaker they don't need? I'm looking for one.
Ok what about this:
The Telefunken Studio 1
The Telefunken 1M
The Panasonic RX-c100
The Panasonic RX-DT680
The JVC Kaboom
What order would these be in in terms of powerful deep bass

Mine had a real rough ride from Germany.

Why do they give you 2 choices, left or right? Are you sure there's not supposed to be 2 fuses, for both left AND right?
Yes. You need two fuses(right and left) for 110V operation. I think it was 2 amp.

Hmm, well it seems to be working fine with just one fuse.
I speak, read & write native German.
The text does refer to "Sicherungen" which is plural for Sicherung, the German word for fuse. The root word is Sicher, which in this context means "safety."
It also says "Felder" which is plural for the word "Feld" (which means field).
So, this sticker reads.
To convert to 110v, remove the fuse from field B and to put 1 Amp fuses in the fields labeled A. Use the included 110v sticker to cover the 220v sticker on the back case.
The sticker they are refering to is the perforated 110V tear-off on the upper right side.
Yes Prime is right the bass is better on the studio the studio 1M dust caps are gold caps and bigger and the studio 1 is silver cap and smaller.
So do any of you actually have two fuses back there? Can you open it up and check?

Anybody?
I'm trying to put the sound of the Telefunken into some form of relative perspective for myself
Guess no one wants to talk about their Telefunkens anymore

To best put one into perspective it would best to just get one.
I promise it will be at the top of your list as one of the best sounding box in your collection.
Wont be the screamer in the bunch But it delivers a crisp warm sound that is more home stereo than it is boombox.
I can go on for days about my Funken but to own one is the only true way to enjoy one.

I heartilly
with the above statement just wish I could find the correct belts for this one for the cassette deck
Update: I read the owners manual and it specifies 2 fuses for 110V operation, so I went to RadioShack to get another T1A 20mm fuse, put it in next to the other one, and..........No differences in performance at all.
I guess it's just a safety thing.
That is a beautiful bbox.
If that sounds as good as It looks I must have one.
