http://cgi.ebay.com/INTERNATIONAL-BY-HGM-BOOMBOX-RARE-P...A1|39%3A1|240%3A1318I have 3 of these in their different variants. It is the same basic boombox as the bolt box. They are very loud but were a budget box when they were originally produced.Their construction is hollow and all plastic save the protective key bar for the cassette deck.Sound type can be explained as dynamics over fidelity.Bass though very good will begin to break up past +3:00 rotation of the pot.Though I'm a big fan of this series of boxes,it's unimaginable to me that someone could mention an M90 in the same ad.Though I've not seen or heard an M90,I can tell you that even my M70 has WAY higher fidelity of sound and is of vastly superior build quality.I just wanted to put this out as a warning. This to me is misleading advertising.
i have the kto variant and its no way near the m90
as i have one to ..it a basic box sounds pretty good but not an m90 by all means,,the 799.00 tag is way to much 250.00 just to be fair and not even that, they are nice to have..
i had this box in 1983 or so before i got my conion...its a decent sounding mid size box...the LEDs are cool..has wide feature...it also appeared in the movie "the last dragon"
here's a pic of mine back in 1984 at a picnic...enjoy

I've never heard one but I would put my M90 up against it anyday. I would expect a lopsided sound off!
They are a nice looking box and a few have stated they sound decent to good but I think ramon is right, $250 tops sounds more appropriate! I don't blame him for trying though, you'll never get big bucks if you don't try. We've seen some eye popping prices paid on occasion so you never know.
