Havent found much lately but last weekend i did some pretty good fleamarket finds.
Saturday - Pretty big outside fleamarket. Went to the electronics first as i alsways do but didnt find anyting worth buying. Then i took a walk aorund looking for other stuff. Looked through a pile of bags and suitcases for some reason and found a small bag that was pretty heavy for it's size so i took a look inside and what do i find? casettetapes! 30 of them! i didnt spend much time looking at them instead i closed the bag and asked a seller..
-How much for this bag?
-0.5€, he replied. ( i dont think he knew there was cassestes in it
)
The next day i found the boombox. It's a Samsung PD-75L. I have never seen a sasmsung boombox before i think. It looks pretty cool with the extra speakers. The sound but is ok but not the kind you expext from a box of this size. Radio works, tape dead. I think new belts would do the trick but i dont have screwdriver that fits into the holes.
Got it cheap, 3€.
Most of the tapes were in pretty bad condition (writing, ripped labels ect) so i am thinking of removing the labels on a few and spraypaint them. It will be a project to come...
Samsung? Interesting find. I don't think I've ever seen a Samsung box.
I have a Samsung box sitting in my garage. It was spared from baseball bats and teenagers.
Well i managed to change the belts today.
It works great now.
It has one of the smallest motors i have ever seen in a boombox. It runs both decks and it uses 3 belts to get it all spinning.

Hey, since you live in Sweden, and so do i. I wonder where you get your belts from? Any big resellers where they are easy to get a hold of?
