Ok, ok, so I went to this new outlet goodwill where they sell stuff priced by the pound. After poking around for about 10 minutes i stumble upon a little black boombox, Panasonic RF-X10. Seeing as its sold by the pound, why not buy it? So, i come home and then check it out on ebay. LAst one on ebay sold for $150! This is the shrimpiest box i have ever seen and there are no special features, no dolby, etc. This a fluke or what?

No, you got a good deal, it would normally go for $20-30. The fluke was the Ebay seller finding an appropriate sheep to pay that kind of $$$ for it.

That one has a 3-band eq, which is relatively rare for a boombox. And Panasonics tend to sound really good...

How does it sound? Does the tape work?

If you don't like it, sell it and put the $$ towards one you really want.

Welcome aboard and Panafan is right. You've got a nice little box. The selleron eBay was very lucky. You will find sellers though who will price believing interest will be high because of listings they've watched.
