Plastic casing and yes, direction arrow.

since this is a shot in the dark for me i'll shoot in "Sanyo" and "Sony"

The orange label can be found on a lot of units, but something inside just told me to say so

This looks like an old mono box with tape counter. Newer ones often have got mirror background for tape control...

Its a stereo box, and no, it ain't a Sanyo or Sony.

It was made in Germany and there is something hidden about it.

Actually, I sent Jens the pics of this radio after 2 guys from Hamburg snooped around in my closet and told him about my mysterious weird boombox contraptions. He's been waiting for these pics ever since then. I don't think it was in the boombox database yet was it Jens?

Wow! What a find. There are several boxes around with removable "walkmen", but I've never seen anything quite like that before. If it's not even in Jen's DB, then for sure it is super-rare... and looks great, too. Really nice catch!
