i know its an age old discussion on here but if there was a new ghetto blaster, pretty much incorporating everything that makes one desirable, would you actually buy it?

im considering getting some made up in china if its possible which it no doubt would be, would there be any demand?

thinking of making one along the lines of 1 piece, bigish speakers, decent radio maybe dab/digital, mp3/ipod compatible etc etc and good in the looks department

I wish there was a new boom box that did if for me, but I just can’t get past these designs, even the new Lasonic i931.

For me, Boom Boxes need to be square. These new curvy round “Boxes” don’t do anything for me. I also like one piece boxes. The new i931 is kind of cool (no offense to those who have one) but the sticker that is suppose to represent the radio dial is just lame to me.

Thankfully there are plenty of old school boxes around to fill the void.

I would, but the problem is there is no longer the demand to warrant a High Quality box. Not many would pay $500+ for a Heavy Portable Boombox anymore
