Have any companies brought out any boombox reissues at all besides that MP3 playing thing from Lasonic? I reckon if one of the big companies were to bring out a reissue range they'd make a truckload of cash
I personally haven't heard anything, but I would love a modern boombox that looks old school - with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth built-in. JVC, Panasonic and/or Sharp should get busy
No secently but I'm sure would like to see a Conion C100F reissue where the middle deck should be a cd MP3 player leaving the bottom deck the same with the storage not only for cassettes but for cds as well.
Here is the Conion reissue:
And the original Conion:

How long ago was the reissue brought out? Let me guess...it's not still available is it?
Na the reissue was made I beleave if I'm correct in the early 90's.

There is no financial incentive for any of the big manufacturers to make a re-issue of any quality box. Even if you could find that one magical box that every one of the current collectors would buy, the sales would be a few hundred, up to perhaps a few thousand in total.
Not enough to make for a truckload of cash, unless we're talking about Tonka trucks here
cummon panfan you would order the first 250 thou to make it a viable propersition to the makers then charge it to dm4u's acount
, but realy i agree there is only about 100 posters here so thats 100 boxes the boombox has been doomed for years unless were talking that pos lasonic.
Hip hop is bigger than my Aunt Martha nowadays and all the young peoples who listen to the hippity hop music will buy one if you manufacture something that was iconic enough with all the retrospective bells and whistles like as you say one of those Lasonic thingos
