what are some of the boomboxes you have owned that have small speakers,but make big sound.

for me pc550
yamaha pc8
pioneer robo disco

hmmmm i dont have two of those anymore. the pc8 i have owned twice.
all of these are very loud and nice sounding considering the small size of the speakers.
what other boxes have lil drivers that go boom.

Akai pj33 only has 3 inch speakers plus passives an amazing warm sound for such a little packige.

4. Panasonic RX DT670 "Biamped"

The man stated small speakers skip to me the sony 770 sounds ****e especially with a 500 pounds price tag back in it's day, mind you i put my modded dc33l speakers on there and she sounded fantastic the 880 sure sounds warm too.

Panasonic RX-DT707.. DT680.. and my newest aquisition,, the E300.. i'll post a pic of this beauty real soon.. and for a first, the speakers are actually marked with rated wattage on the E300.. the 707 and E300 both use 3 inch woofers also..

No question: the Marantz CH-53/CP-53 - just 2 inch speakers (active once) with a great sound (better than my Marantz PMS 7000).

I'm amazed at the sound the Sanyo M-7750F puts out. The sound has some weight to it, it's not the typical pocket radio thin bassless sound that so many minis have.

The Sony CFD770 has small woofers,I would say about 4 inchers. That is pretty small to me Tim.........

I've recently bougth a JVC PC-100.
When I saw it, I tought ... that box won't sound too loud.

But it has suprised me !!!

Plenty of POWER with really SMALL sepakers !!!!

Another kicker is the Sony CFS-9900. Really small speakers but VERY VERY POWERFULL, and good BASS
