Hi everyone-I just got a Realistic SCR-15 boombox.You don't even want to know how cheap it was!
Yes this is an old school boombox with am/fm and cassette.
It's in really good shape and it sounds great!
The only problem is that the Tape head doesn't lift up to play.
I see a mechanism in there that goes up but no tape head itself going up with it.
Now I haven't really gotten into it yet but I thought I'd see if anyone has had a similar problem with their box or a similar one.
I really like this one-It has kind of Sharp-8989 look to it.
Let me know if anyone can help on this.
I just don't have time to take it apart yet.

Hi-surgery was a success!!
It was a tension spring-It was somehow out of it's place.
I managed to find out how it fit in there.
Everything is A-1 now!!
