Hi-I had to tell you that I was dreaming about some boomboxes and this is really something:

Here it is: How about dreaming of or possibly actually owning a brand new never opened M90 or M90C in the box!
And how about another: A brand new never opnened in the box GF-1000!!

I would have to say this would be just insane!
I just wonder if any of our members are this insanely fortunate enough to own such rarities!
What do you guys think-Not bad about dreaming something like this-Unopened grails with special colored cloths covering them for to display!

Its great when you dream about boomers to me its actually as good as owning them.

my pioneer wasnt in the box. i will say this tho. my pioneer sk-95 may not be a grail to some,but it trully is as if it just came off out of the box at christmas time. even the little sparkles in the grill cloth are still there. i still cannot get over the condition of it.

yes ive had dreams of a conion sealed never opened just as i bought it back in 1984...i think if i had the money back then id buy two at the same time one opened to enjoy and one sealed never to be opened...

i beleive there were a few jvc's sold like that on the bay an m70 or 838? sealed never opened a while back...

But just thinking of opening them would make you wonder-should I???
By the way-I have had brand new in the box bought myself:
(1)Sanyo M9970 in New York City 1980' Manhattan!
(2)Sharp GF-8989II brand new in 1981'
(3)JVC-PC55JW-Brand new but no box 1985'-still mint and new(all papers,owners manual,warranty card,original bill of sale,original window sticker!!-STILL HAVE!
I guess I'm lucky,you see I remember opening these-I wish I had the first 2 originals(I've replaced them with e-bay ones(9970,GF-8989II)
Gosh-I wish I would have kept those boxes!

the only ones i have opened new from a box have been a kaboom,a dt690 ,and a really lame sharp twin cam cassette i hated.

i must have opened at least 40 boomers brand new most of my collection i had when new in the box hence getting them again.

Got a handful of in-the-box boomers, but none sealed. Fortunately. I'm enough of a collecting goofball that, if one were sealed, I'd never open it. After all, "it would lose its value." I have a few transistor radios like that, plus lately a couple of special edition G-Shock watches. I can't bear the thought of "ruining" them by using them. On the other hand, I hate that I'll never get to enjoy them. Welcome to my nightmare!

I´ve never thought, but sometimes dreams can come true.
Like my LEVIS discolite and the MEKOSONIC.
OK, that´s no real grails, but my favourites.
I am sure there exists some brandnew beauties original boxed.
But it´s very hard to find them (and get for a fair price).
So let´s dream on - and search on.

Sometimes I hate these boombox dreams. I had one once, about a JVC M90. The dream ended abruptly, and I leapt out of bed at around 3AM eager to play with my M90... then realised I don't have one!!

There was a brand new, boxed gf-1000, on yahoo japan, last year.
